Consultation
Schedule an Acne Consultation with Digital Diagnostics ($150-$200) or Acne Consultation with Digital Diagnostics and Full Treatment ($250-$350). When you come to the spa for your initial consultation, together we will discuss what products you are using, lifestyle, diet and other treatments and products you have tried. We will also decide on the products that will be best for your skin and acne type based on the sensitivity test we perform. The consultation prices vary on which one you schedule and who you see (our owner Elizabeth charges more) and do not include the price of the products, which will run between $200-$300. You will receive a copy of the book Filter Free & Flawless and an informational packet to take home and learn more about acne. At your first appointment, you’ll spend the most and we like to think of it as an investment in your wellbeing.
Treatments
You will receive an acne treatment every two weeks for a period of 12-16 weeks. Your appointments with us are specifically designed for your needs and are scheduled here in Peoria. This is a time when you will see significant changes in your skin, and you should be mostly to completely clear by your 6th or 8th treatment with us. We ask that you have a coachable spirit. This means that you must be willing to check in with us every two weeks, even if you can't make your appointment. We will be making minor changes in your homecare routine as you progress through this program. In order for this to work, you must be willing to make lifestyle and product changes with the program. Your life can change if you are willing to be consistent and do the work! Treatment prices vary depending on the time you need for extractions and who you are scheduled with.
Products
We require that you be willing to use our products exclusively and follow our protocols and guidelines. The results you want won't happen if you are using other products. When receiving acne treatments in our spa, your skin will clear faster, but results can be achieved by using our products exclusively and 100% consistently on your own. Prices are approximate and will vary from person to person. Please let us know if you have any allergic reactions or are becoming over-sensitive or too dry so we can adjust any products you use. We also carry non-pore-clogging mineral makeup that will help with the healing process if you wear makeup often. As we've said before, every person's issues are different and will require different products. Once you are clear, you will still need to continue using your home care products to maintain the results you've achieved. You can expect to pay between $200 and $300 for products, which is about 3 to 4 months supply and 100% necessary.
Maintenance
Congratulations! You now have clear skin and your acne is under control.
For many, keeping acne under control is an ongoing effort. You will need to continue with your Elizabeth Steffen homecare products. We may recommend that you come in for appointments every 4-6 weeks if your skin still wants to still break out for many different reasons. In order to keep you clear, having regular facials may be essential. Teens will often experience white and blackheads the most. Adults will have more cystic breakouts. Each service is tailored to your personal needs. You will often need adjustments to your homecare, including changing products seasonally or even as you start not producing as much congestion in the skin. This is the weening off process as you grow out of your acne producing years.
Acne Scaring
In a lot of cases, even after we get acne cleared, people are left with acne marks and scars. At Vanilla Sugar Face & Body we offer additional acne scaring and pigmentation reduction treatments so you have clear, and even-toned skin. Prices vary based on services & frequency needed. Scaring may be reduced while you are on our program through the regular customized treatments you’ll be receiving.
