A sunless tanning method where a tanning solution is applied to the skin using a spray gun or misting booth. The solution contains an active ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA, which reacts with the outer layer of your skin to produce a tan.

Yes. It is considered a safe alternative to traditional sun tanning, and DHA has been approved by the FDA for topical use. It is still essential to follow the safety guidelines and protect your eyes, nose and mouth during application.

On average five to ten days, depending on your skin type, how you prepared and how you care for it afterwards. Regular moisturizing and avoiding activities that cause heavy sweating help prolong it. We have seen our tans last up to two weeks.

There is no conclusive evidence that spray tanning is harmful during pregnancy, but we advise consulting your healthcare provider before any cosmetic procedure, including this one.

No. A spray tan gives you no protection from UV rays whatsoever. Continue to use sunscreen with appropriate SPF whenever you are in the sun, to prevent burning and skin damage.

Exfoliate beforehand, avoid moisturizers and oils, and skip makeup, deodorant and perfume on the day. Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment.

Wait at least 8 to 12 hours so the DHA can fully develop. For that first shower use lukewarm water and avoid harsh soaps or exfoliating products.

The initial bronzer in the solution may transfer, but it is water-soluble and washes out easily. Wearing dark, loose-fitting clothing straight after your session minimizes the risk.

That depends on your preferences and lifestyle. Many clients come every one to two weeks to maintain a consistent tan.

Wait at least 24 hours. Chlorine and saltwater both affect how long the tan lasts. After swimming, pat your skin dry rather than rubbing it.
